Information about Chinese Translators Journal (CTJ)

Chinese Translators Journal (CTJ) is a scholarly publication sponsored by the Translators Association of China. A peer-reviewed bimonthly in Chinese, CTJ is committed to promoting translation both as a socio-cultural practice and as an area of theoretical inquiry. The Journal aims to stimulate innovative research on all translation-related issues. It offers a forum for China’s translators, interpreters and scholars of translation studies to share with one another their fresh ideas and new f?indings, and to exchange views with their international counterparts as well.

CTJ welcomes contributions that deal with a wide generic range of topics, from conference interpreting to pedagogy of translation. It also encourages discussions based on a diversity of methodological perspectives. Submissions will be evaluated initially by the Editorial Department. Those found suitable for the Journal will then go through a double-blind peer review process. To facilitate this process, avoid self-identif?ication in the text proper of the MS, and provide instead a separate cover page with the title of the article, the name of the author and his/her institutional aff?iliation. The Editor’s decision on a submission is normally made within 90 days.
